About Travel & Documentary Photography
What Drives My Photography
I’m not out here just to click pretty frames. I want to freeze a vibe, catch a feeling, and tell the story behind what I see. Whether it’s the buzz of a crowded street or the quiet of an old doorway, I’m always chasing that one honest moment.
My Kind of Stories
- Dive deep into local life, like the potters of Dharavi - I believe in showing things how they are, no sugar-coating.
- Projects like “Childhood Summers” and “The Doors of Maharashtra” let me explore both the loud and the subtle sides of our culture.
- When I travel, it’s not about ticking off tourist spots. For me, places like Hampi or the monsoon-soaked villages in Maharashtra are all about catching the details that most folks walk past.
- I love the randomness of street life - sometimes it’s a wild animal moment, sometimes it’s just birds lined up on a wire making a cool pattern.
How I Work
My best photos often happen when I’m not overthinking the gear. I shoot with whatever I’ve got on me - sometimes a Nikon, sometimes just my phone. I’m Mumbai-based but open to assignments anywhere in India. If you’re after real moments and visual storytelling in Indian villages or cities, I’m all in.

My Story
‘Be young, be dope, run the show’ – that’s me, Sanket. I chase moments, not just pictures. It could be flamingos lost in their dance, kids splashing in a village pond, or Mumbai’s cats on the hunt. Sometimes I’m deep in studio lights, other times it’s just me and my phone, wandering and experimenting. For me, every shot is a memory in the making. I’m always after that feeling, that little bit of magic.
My Work
Photography for Every Story - I shoot portraits, commercial campaigns, wildlife, nature, street and raw travel photography.
In-Camera Creative Photography - I like building visuals right in camera - comic-book style product shoots, no heavy editing.
Portraits that Pop - I experiment with light and technique to show real character, from minimal celebrity portraits to natural street vibes.
The World is my Studio - I use everything - Nikon, Godox, iPhone - wherever the moment takes me, city or coast.
