About High-Fashion & Editorial Makeup
In editorial work, the makeup must react to changing light. I do not just apply products and leave the set. I monitor the screens during the shoot to manage texture, shine, and flyaways in real-time, which saves your team hours of post-production editing.
My approach to fashion makeup is built on collaboration. Whether we are working on a high-contrast black and white portrait or a saturated beauty spread, the makeup needs to tell a story alongside the wardrobe and lighting. I use pro-grade products like RCMA, NARS, and Kryolan that handle studio strobe glare without creating a white cast or unwanted reflections.
Professional shoots are a team sport. I coordinate closely with the photographer and stylist to ensure the skin texture fits the mood, be it dewy or matte. If the concept requires specialized effects like sweat, tears, or avant-garde face art, I bring the kit to execute it safely.
For long studio days or outdoor locations, I maintain strict continuity throughout the shift. This means you do not have to worry about the look drifting as the day progresses. I am comfortable working in vanity vans, studios, or on location across Mumbai and the rest of India.
