The Ashtanga Primary Series: Yoga Chikitsa

This is the foundation of the Ashtanga system, known as Yoga Chikitsa or yoga therapy. I guide you through this set sequence of postures designed to realign the spine, detoxify the body, and build strength, flexibility, and stamina.

The Ashtanga Intermediate Series: Nadi Shodhana

Known as Nadi Shodhana or nerve cleansing, this series opens and clears the energy channels in the body. It introduces more intense backbends, hip openers, and arm balances, requiring a solid foundation in the Primary Series.

Mysore Style & Led Classes

I offer both traditional Mysore style classes, where you practice at your own pace with my personal guidance, and led classes, where I guide the group together through the sequence. This combination supports both deep personal practice and learning the correct vinyasa count.

The Yogi's Path: Lineage, Philosophy & Self-Study

Ashtanga is a journey of self-reflection (svadhyaya) that extends beyond the mat. I share the teachings of the parampara (lineage) as I learned them from my Guru, Sharath Jois, exploring yogic texts and concepts to guide our inner discovery.

A Holistic Practice: Nutrition & Lifestyle

A complete yoga practice is holistic, integrating how we live and what we eat. I share my approach to a yogic diet, including sattvic (pure) meals and the practice of Ekadashi fasting, to support physical purification and mental clarity.

Practice in Nature

Taking the practice outdoors connects us to the elements and brings a different quality of energy and awareness. These moments in nature, whether in a forest or by ancient temples, are a reminder of our connection to the world around us.

Join My Classes & Workshops

I welcome all students, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners, to join my classes. I offer regular sessions online and in-person at my shala in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, as well as periodic workshops.

The Daily Practice

The essence of yoga lies in showing up on the mat, regardless of time, location, or circumstance. This collection is a reflection of my personal sadhana and the commitment to the practice that keeps me grounded.
