Easy No-Demolition Vastu Remedies
Vastu does not have to mean breaking walls or heavy renovation. With small shifts, colours, and intentional placements, you can bring harmony to your living space.
Bringing plants into your home is a wonderful way to increase positive energy. In this video, I point out some of the best plants for prosperity according to Vastu, including the Tulsi plant, Jade plant, and Bamboo.
The Tulsi plant is sacred and brings immense peace and harmony, but its placement is key. This graphic lists important tips, such as placing it in the North or North-East, never watering it on Sundays, and always keeping it in a pot.
On a visit with a client to a nursery, they were drawn to cactus plants, which are generally not recommended in Vedic Vastu. I suggested a great alternative: the Jade plant. It looks similar but is known to bring positive energy and good luck.
A bamboo plant can bring financial stability, but it must be placed correctly. Keep a plant with 21 stems tied with a red string in the East or South-East direction of your home or office for overall growth.
This is a very important tip that many people ignore. Never keep broken items like chipped crockery or non-working gadgets at home. They hold negative energy and can cause hurdles and unnecessary expenses, so please fix or dispose of them.
Switch words are powerful affirmations that work like magic. "GOLDEN SUNRISE" is a master switch word for removing all kinds of obstacles, from marriage hurdles to money issues. Chant it with positive intention for at least 41 days and see the magic happen.
About this collection
You might think Vastu requires major structural changes, but often it is just about redirecting energy. For instance, replacing an incorrect doormat colour or moving a cactus to a non-living area can immediately shift the vibe of your room. These small, non-demolition adjustments are what I focus on to help you regain balance without any hassle.
Many clients in Bangalore come to me worried that their flat has major Vastu doshas that cannot be fixed without breaking walls. I always tell them the same thing: do not stress. Most energy imbalances can be corrected using simple tools like colour therapy, placement changes, and everyday items.
Why No-Demolition Works
Think of Vastu as a flow of energy. If you have a blocked drain or a cluttered entrance, you do not need to reconstruct your entire home to fix it. We start by mapping your space to find the 'Vedh' or energy blocks. Once we identify the problem, the solution is often symbolic or environmental:
- Clear the Clutter: Never keep broken clocks, chipped crockery, or non-working gadgets in your home. These hold negative energy and act as a drain on your finances.
- The Power of Aroma: Burning Bhimseni camphor with cloves daily is one of the most effective ways to cleanse your space. It is a simple ritual that clears negative vibes and nazar (evil eye).
- Plant Placement: Not all plants belong everywhere. While a Jade plant promotes prosperity, cacti are generally avoided inside the home. A bamboo plant with 21 stems, when kept in the East or South-East, can help with financial stability.
Using Switch Words
Beyond physical changes, I often suggest 'switch words' for mental and situational blocks. These are powerful affirmations, like 'GOLDEN SUNRISE', that you can chant daily. It is not magic, but a way to align your intention with the energy of your space. Whether you are dealing with marriage hurdles or money issues, a simple, consistent practice can lead to meaningful shifts.
If you have a floor plan you are worried about, we can discuss it over a video call. You do not need to compromise your home's integrity to achieve peace and prosperity.
