About this collection
Every experiment here is built on the philosophy that science is meant to be messy and loud. Instead of textbooks, we use real tools like motors, circuits, and chemical reactions to help children from age 3 and up understand physics, biology, and chemistry by actually building and creating them.
At Sandbox, we believe that the best way to learn science is to get your hands dirty. We moved away from traditional classroom teaching to create an environment where kids can touch, build, and experiment. Whether it is a weekly lab class or a specialized themed birthday party, our goal remains the same: sparking curiosity.
Our labs in Juhu and Mulund are designed for active experimentation. In our physics sessions, children race cars and launch air-powered toys to see friction and air pressure in action. For our young biologists, we use anatomical models and insect specimens to make the human body and nature easy to understand. We also bridge the gap between imagination and engineering by teaching kids how to build their own scribble bots, electric lanterns, and vacuum cleaners using motors and batteries.
We bring this same energy to our science-themed birthday parties across Mumbai. We handle the setup and facilitation, turning the party into a supervised discovery zone with bubbling potions or Harry Potter-style physics experiments. It is not just about entertainment; it is about giving children a genuine 'aha!' moment when they realize they can understand and control the mechanics behind the magic. We ensure every child goes home with a certificate or a project they built themselves, keeping the excitement alive long after the session ends.
