About this collection
Gouache and acrylics are my favorite mediums because they offer such a rich, opaque finish. Unlike watercolors, these paints let me layer colors and fix little mistakes easily, which is why I use them for almost all my landscape work. Whether I am capturing the glow of a sunset or the deep greens of a magical forest, these paints allow me to build texture and depth that really brings the scene to life on canvas or paper.
My Approach to Landscapes
I treat every landscape like a small story. Whether it is a sunset Polaroid painting or a whimsical forest scene, I use high-quality Himi gouache for its vibrant, matte finish. It is surprisingly beginner-friendly, which is why I love teaching these exact techniques in my weekend workshops.
