Artistic Studies & Recreations
I love pushing my creative limits by exploring famous masterpieces and capturing the beauty of everyday objects. These studies are my way of sharpening my craft and bringing new perspectives to life.
My customized "Starry Night" painting. This was one of the most therapeutic pieces I've ever painted, and I love getting lost in the swirls and colors of Van Gogh's masterpiece.
Watch my full tutorial on how to paint a realistic, flaky croissant using acrylics. I walk you through the process of layering colors and adding highlights to make it look good enough to eat.
A process video of my Lord Ganesha painting, created for Ganesh Chaturthi. I used vibrant red and yellow acrylics to bring this auspicious and powerful figure to life.
A watercolor tutorial on painting realistic pumpkins. I demonstrate the wet-on-wet technique to get a seamless blend of colors and even use salt to create interesting textures.
A hyper-realistic gouache painting of a crate of shiny red apples. I gave my heart and soul to this piece, focusing on the reflections and colors to make them look real.
A close-up of the apple painting, showing the detail in each fruit. Can you believe this is a painting?
The full view of my apple crate painting. This was a great study in realism and light.
Another shot of the apple painting, this time with my brush to show the scale.
A final, styled shot of the apple crate painting. I'm so happy with how this turned out.
Two paintings from a birthday collaboration, one of a happy golden retriever and another of a peaceful winter snow scene.
About Artistic Studies & Recreations
I treat these studies as a way to push my technical limits, whether that is mastering the flaky layers of a croissant or the light in a Van Gogh. Every piece here was painted to test my craft, and I bring that same focus on texture and lighting to every custom project you order.
Why I Paint Studies
Sometimes I just need to get lost in the process of creation without a specific brief. These studies, like my take on the Starry Night or my hyper-realistic apple crate, help me experiment with new techniques, paint brands, and color theories. It is how I stay fresh and keep improving for the custom portraits and gifts I make for you.
My Approach to Realism
Whether I am working with gouache or acrylics, the goal is always to make the subject feel tangible. You will notice in my croissant or pumpkin tutorials that I emphasize layering and highlights to build depth. I don't just paint what I see, I paint the feeling of the subject. If you have a specific scene, a favorite artwork, or a still life object that you want to see translated into a hand-painted piece, I am always up for the challenge.
Customizing Your Art
Since these studies show the range of my style, think of them as a portfolio of possibilities. If you love a particular technique or a specific color palette you see here, we can use that as the starting point for your own custom commission. I ship my art across India and ensure each piece is packed with care, so it reaches you in perfect condition.
