About The Wedding Squad (Family & Friends)
When I design for the wedding squad, my focus is comfort that lasts through hours of rituals and dancing. I carefully pick fabrics that keep everyone from the littlest flower girl to the grandmother feeling breathable, using soft nets and cotton silks that don’t scratch. We’ll discuss your event’s theme colors and I’ll sketch out cohesive silhouettes that make you look like a team without being identical.
Planning a wedding involves more than just the bridal trousseau. It is about the people who stand by your side. Whether you want your mother to glow in an elegant, embroidered saree or need matching outfits for your sister’s Sangeet performance, I make it happen. Coordination does not mean cookie-cutter outfits. It means complementary color palettes and design elements that tie your family's look together while honouring individual style preferences.
I love working with the kids too. Watching a niece spin in a lehenga with "Chachu ki Shaadi" embroidered on the dupatta is what makes this job so special. For the ladies, I focus on silhouettes that flatter different ages and body types, think comfortable draped sarees for a chic cocktail look or traditional shararas for a winter wedding guest appearance.
My process is collaborative. We start by looking at your event mood board. If you have a specific color theme for Haldi or Mehndi, I suggest fabrics and embroidery styles that hold up during the rituals. You won't find generic, heavy fabrics here. I use breathable Upada silks, organza, and soft nets, ensuring everyone feels as good as they look. Plus, I handle the measurements and trials right here at my Sector 7, Gurugram studio, so you have zero stress about the final fit. From initial fabric selection to those final, perfect latkans, I manage the details so you can just enjoy the party.
