B&W photography is unforgiving. Without color to distract, every stray hair or sloppy shadow stands out. That is why I do not just desaturate files. I light these sessions with specific contrast ratios in mind, chasing that chiaroscuro vibe, to make sure the final portrait feels like it has weight, texture, and real personality.

I use high-contrast lighting to create that classic cinematic feel. It is perfect for models who need their book to show range beyond just pretty pictures.
