Modern Ethnic & Regal Portraits in Mumbai

Most traditional photography keeps it stiff and staged, but that is not how I work. My goal is to capture movement and raw attitude even when the attire is ethnic. Whether we are shooting a classic saree, a lehenga, or modern fusion wear, I treat the session like a fashion campaign.

I shoot these sessions at Studio 1965 in Goregaon, where I have full control over the lighting setups. We move away from the usual 'smile and look at the camera' routine. Instead, I direct you into poses that feel strong and authentic. We spend time on pre-shoot planning to ensure your wardrobe aligns with the mood. If you want to incorporate props, we can do that, but the focus remains on you and the story you want to tell.

Since these shoots are collaborative, I work closely with stylists and makeup artists to ensure every detail matches the concept. We are not just capturing an outfit, we are creating a narrative. My editorial background means I am constantly looking for angles that feel fresh, even when the aesthetic is classic.
