Curious about how I create those intricate designs? Here is a peek into my world of henna—from my practice sessions to the homemade paste that makes every pattern pop.

Practice makes perfect. Here I am working on some finger details on paper. This is how I refine my skills and come up with new patterns.

About Behind the Art: My Process & Practice

Getting that perfect stain is not just about the design, it is about the chemistry. I mix every batch of my henna paste 24 hours before your event using organic Sojat powder, eucalyptus, and clove oils, with zero synthetic additives. This is why my designs, even the delicate ones, deliver that signature deep mahogany colour by the 48-hour mark.

I do not just draw; I practice to perfect. You will see me working on paper grids or 'jaal' patterns constantly—it keeps my muscle memory sharp and ensures that when I move to your hands, the lines are clean, consistent, and confident. Whether it is a complex bridal mandala or a minimalist vine, that steady hand is what separates a quick sketch from a professional finish.

My process starts long before I arrive at your venue. Because I am obsessed with 'stain goals', I handle the prep personally. I source organic Sojat henna and blend it with essential oils, ensuring no chemicals touch your skin. This homemade mix is what allows me to achieve that rich, dark mahogany stain that peaks around 48 hours.

I also believe that sharing knowledge is part of the art. When I am not working on clients, I am teaching. My online masterclass takes students from basic vine structures to advanced floral fusion, mirroring the same techniques I use in my own professional work. Seeing my students grow is just as rewarding as seeing a bride’s face light up with the final result.
