About this collection
When we built this studio in Thane, our biggest challenge was vertical space. We added a mezzanine to double our floor area without making the cabin feel cramped, and installed track lighting with exposed conduits to keep the ceiling height intact. It is the same logic we apply to offices and shops across Mumbai: prioritize function, use smart storage to keep it clean, and then layer in the lighting to make it look premium.
How We Built Our Studio
I built my own studio as a live portfolio because I want you to see the quality, not just in renders, but in reality. We took a bare shell and executed a complete turnkey transformation, which is exactly how we handle your projects.
The Design Philosophy
- Smart Space Planning: In cities like Mumbai, space is the biggest luxury. By using a mezzanine level, we effectively doubled our usable footprint without adding a heavy structure. We used a glass partition for the meeting area to maintain privacy while ensuring the space feels open and connected.
- Strategic Lighting: Lighting is the secret to a high-end look. We moved away from standard false ceilings and used exposed conduit piping for our track lights. This gives the studio an industrial, contemporary vibe and saves on maintenance costs.
- Custom Details: Those arched wall niches you see? They are custom-built to display our decor and certificates. Every millimetre was planned to ensure they are functional storage as well as design elements.
