Life is full of milestones beyond the wedding day. From cozy naming ceremonies to housewarming functions, I create setups that bring warmth, tradition, and color to your home celebrations.

About Celebrations Beyond the Wedding

For naming ceremonies and housewarmings, I focus on using fresh flowers and traditional brass accents that feel welcoming in your home. I avoid heavy structures, preferring to work with your room's natural layout so the decor feels like a seamless part of your celebration rather than an add-on.

When we step out of the wedding season, my focus shifts to the intimacy of your private gatherings. A housewarming or a naming ceremony shouldn't feel like a commercial event space. Instead, it should feel like your home at its absolute best.

I handle these events using the same attention to detail I apply to weddings, but with a different set of materials. For example, my naming ceremony setups often involve custom cradle decorations, while housewarmings are centered around welcoming entrance hangings and floral rangolis. I use fresh local flowers—roses, marigolds, and seasonal blooms—rather than over-relying on artificial materials, because the fragrance is a huge part of the experience.

Here is how we ensure things go smoothly:

  • Transparent Planning: Just like with larger events, I share digital layouts before we start. This ensures you know exactly how the placement of the floral backdrop or the urli stands will work in your specific living room or hall.
  • Minimalist Setups: I know that house functions have limited space. I select props—like brass urlis, wooden easels, or sleek gold stands—that add elegance without cluttering your floor space.
  • Floral Accents: I favor asymmetrical floral arrangements that look natural and festive. Whether it is a traditional Ganesha motif for a puja or a soft, floral arc for a cradle, I ensure the color palette matches your home's vibe.

I decorate across all areas of Bengaluru. Because these events are often scheduled around specific auspicious times, I recommend finalizing your design choices at least two weeks in advance. This gives me enough time to source the freshest flowers and prep the specific brass or wooden elements you have chosen.
