Student Robotics Projects and Real Tech Builds
Watch our students demonstrate the robots, drones, and AI projects they built from scratch. This is where early curiosity transforms into engineering confidence.
At just 12 years old, Anay demonstrates his automated street light project. He explains how he used color sensors and block-based coding to solve a real-world problem, a perfect example of our hands-on learning approach in the Core Robotics course.
Meet 10-year-old Maaya from our core STEM course. She confidently explains the components of a car she built, including motors and wheels, showing how even our youngest students grasp foundational engineering concepts from their very first class.
Watch our student Shalin demonstrate his advanced eight-state line-follower robot. He explains how using multiple color sensors and motors results in a more stable and accurate robot, showcasing the progression from intermediate to advanced concepts in our curriculum.
Hear from Ettan, one of our dedicated students, as he shares his year-long journey at our academy. He talks about learning to code gear robots and use various sensors, showing the deep and lasting interest our hands-on projects inspire.
This short, fun video captures the spirit of our students who know that learning at our academy is about building real skills that go far beyond the traditional school curriculum.
Our students share the most valuable tech and life skills they've learned from their mentors, from CAD and C++ programming to independence and teamwork. This video is a tribute to the guidance that shapes our young innovators.
About See Our Students in Action
Every robot you see here was built during class, with students responsible for everything from circuit assembly to sensor logic. We provide the kits and the curriculum, but the code and the structural build are entirely the work of our students, whether they are debugging a line-follower or programming an automated street light.
Learning at RFL Academy is about moving past theoretical concepts. Our students spend their time in the lab, not just listening to lectures.
From Basic Mechanics to Advanced AI
We track student progression across Grades 1 to 12.
- Beginners: Students start with simple block-based coding, focusing on foundational engineering concepts like motor use, gear ratios, and structure stability, as seen in our Milo collaborating tasks.
- Intermediate: Learners move to complex sensors. You will see our students demonstrating projects like automated street lights, where they integrate color sensors and EV3 bricks to execute logical commands based on real-world inputs.
- Advanced: Students tackle advanced line-following robots, utilizing multiple sensors to ensure stability and accuracy. This level involves shifting from block coding to text-based languages like Python and C++.
Why Project-Based Learning Matters
We focus on the 'why' and 'how' of technology. When a student builds an elevator or a drone, they face technical constraints and pressure to maintain their robot. These challenges build life skills—problem-solving, independence, and the ability to listen and iterate.
Whether you are looking for robotics classes in Vile Parle, Kandivali, Tardeo, or our centers in Ahmedabad and Surat, our curriculum remains consistent. We focus on preparing students for national and international competitions like WRO and FTC. We want your child to stop consuming technology and start creating it.
RFL Academy
At RFL Academy, we believe the future is built, not just imagined. We guide your children from their very first robot build to national-level competition prep, turning curiosity into real engineering skills.
