About Family & Group Portraits
Getting a group of people to coordinate isn't easy, but it is the secret to a great portrait. I do not just provide the gowns; I personally coordinate the colour palette and textures between every family member so that the final image feels balanced, intentional, and warm.
When you are planning a family photoshoot in Bangalore or Hassan, the biggest challenge is rarely the camera or the lighting—it is making sure everyone looks like they belong together. Mismatched styles or clashing colours can distract from the people themselves.
My approach to group portrait styling is simple: we start with a central vision for the group and work outward. Whether we are styling a mother-daughter duo, a couple, or a large extended family, I ensure the outfits complement each other rather than competing for attention.
My Styling Process
- Palette Coordination: I help select colours that suit the background of your venue, whether it is an outdoor park or a studio setting. I match the gown’s fabric to the suits or traditional wear worn by the rest of the group.
- Outfit Selection: For the women, I have a wide range of rental gowns, from flowing net and tulle to heavy structural pieces. I also guide the men and children on what will look best alongside these choices.
- Complete Look: Since I also coordinate hair and makeup through my network, you do not have to worry about the final polish. Everything—from the gown draping to the hair styling—is managed to keep the look cohesive.
We capture memories that reflect the Kannada saying, Koodi baalidare ade swarga—living together is heaven. My goal is to make sure your family portrait truly captures that feeling of harmony, leaving you with photos you will actually want to frame on your wall.
