Architectural Narrative: The House of Masaba Flagship
Architecture is more than shelter, it is the tangible embodiment of a brand's ethos. This project weaves the sculptural boldness of the House of Masaba into a fluid, immersive spatial narrative.

A curving, lime-plastered wall creates a flowing pathway through the House of Masaba store. A single garment is displayed like a work of art, highlighting the space's gallery-like quality and its focus on celebrating individual pieces.
A detail shot capturing the dialogue between art and architecture at the House of Masaba. The signature tribal bust is juxtaposed with a pod-like enclosure, its red interior hinting at a private, sacred space within the store.

A bridal lehenga is displayed against a terracotta-hued wall, with a classic rattan chair and integrated shelving nearby. This composition balances the richness of the garment with the tactile, old-world nostalgia of the architectural finishes.

About Sartorial Spaces: Brand-Centric Retail
The spatial layout abandons the standard retail grid in favor of organic, sculptural pods that guide customers through the store. By utilizing lime-plastered curved walls and recessed display niches, we created a transition from public discovery to private consultation, allowing individual garments to stand as art pieces rather than mere inventory.
This project in Mehrauli serves as a case study in how to translate brand ethos into three-dimensional form. Our approach moved away from the traditional, rigid retail layout, choosing instead to define space through flowing, sculptural volumes. The lime-plastered walls provide an earthen texture, anchoring the store in a sense of old-world nostalgia while the bold, tribal-inspired elements ensure the space remains undeniably modern.
We focused on the rhythm of the journey, where winding paths encourage a slower, more deliberate exploration of the collection. Each niche functions as a sanctuary, balancing the high-energy nature of the brand with moments of quiet reflection. This spatial module moves beyond standard retail design, treating the environment as a gallery where light and shadow are used to highlight texture and proportion.
Our process for retail design involves deep inquiry into the brand identity before a single line is drawn. We examine how the physical space can support revenue goals while simultaneously becoming an extension of the label. From the initial conceptual script to the final MEP integration, our focus remains on creating environments that function with the precision of a high-end commercial operation, yet feel like an immersive, lived-in experience.
