A lot of people ask me if they need long, thick hair to pull off those trendy, intricate bohemian braids or sleek editorial styles. Honestly, the magic is all in the prep and the accessories. Whether we are using high-quality clip-in extensions to add volume or strategically placing pearls and fresh flowers to frame your face, we can create a high-impact look regardless of your natural hair length. It is about working with what you have and making it pop.
How I Build Your Look
When I am working on these creative looks, I do not just start tonging or pinning. We start with the foundation. For those textured, boho styles you see in the gallery, I use specific texturizing sprays to give your hair grip so the braids do not slide out. If we are going for a sleek, high-fashion ponytail like the ones I have done for shoots, I use edge control gels to ensure that glass-like, bump-free finish that lasts through long hours of camera lights and movement.
Dealing with Humidity
Living in Mumbai, I know the struggle is real with frizz. Whether you are at an outdoor event or a beach wedding, I always incorporate an anti-humidity shield into my routine. This keeps your hair looking fresh and prevents that 'frizz halo' from popping up halfway through your event.
