When we are on set, hair needs to survive hours of retakes and bright studio lights. I focus on creating styles that stay structured but look natural. For campaigns involving jewelry, my goal is to ensure the hair frame highlights the pieces without creating stray flyaways that become a nightmare to edit in post-production. I work directly with your creative team to match the concept, whether it is a high-fashion look or something soft and commercial.
Preparing for the Lens
Commercial hairstyling is different from bridal work. The priority here is precision. Whether it is a lookbook for a designer or a jewelry campaign, every strand matters. My process starts with understanding the brand aesthetic.
- Texture Control: I use specific products to eliminate frizz and flyaways, ensuring the hair looks clean under high-resolution cameras.
- Versatility: I can quickly shift from a polished, sleek ponytail for a corporate ad to glamorous waves for a fashion shoot.
- Collaboration: I coordinate with makeup artists and photographers to ensure the hair does not cast unwanted shadows on the model’s face or hide the product being shot.
My kit is packed with industry-standard products—heat protectants, finishing sprays, and texture powders—designed to hold up under the intense heat of studio lights. I am based in Delhi NCR but travel frequently to Mumbai and other cities for editorial projects and production schedules.
