About Studio Classes & Camps
I run separate batches for our little ones and the older crew at NDC Studio, so everyone gets the right mix of movement. For ages 4-6, we stick to fun freeze games and basic motor skills, while the 7-11 group dives into cultural rhythms like Salsa and Bollywood choreography. No pressure to be perfect here, just pure energy.
Why these classes are a hit
I’ve seen how much kids need a space that isn't just about structured learning. At my studio classes, we trade boring workouts for music, laughter, and high-energy routines. It’s not about being a pro dancer, it’s about learning to love moving your body.
What happens in a session
- Zumba Kids Jr (Ages 4-6): We focus on balance, coordination, and rhythm through play. Expect lots of wiggling, jumping, and silly games.
- Zumba Kids (Ages 7-11): We step it up with cool, easy-to-follow moves. We explore different music styles, learn simple sequences, and build that confidence.
Where to find us
Classes happen at NDC Studio, YMCA Cross Road. We have batches running throughout the month, usually 2 to 3 times a week, to keep things consistent for the kids. If you’re looking for something more intensive, watch this space for my seasonal dance camps during vacations. These are longer, 90-120 minute workshops that usually wrap up with a final performance video.
