I split my sessions into two distinct groups, Zumba Kids Jr (4-6 years) for motor skills through freeze games, and Zumba Kids (7-11 years) for more complex, culture-inspired rhythms. Whether it is a quick school workshop or a regular studio batch, we do not do boring routines here, as it is all about letting kids be their wild, fun selves while I guide them through steps that actually fit their attention spans.
My Zumba Kids sessions in Calicut are designed to be a safe, high-energy space where children can simply be themselves. I host regular classes at NDC Studio on YMCA Cross Road and Kenzo Fitness in Pottammal, providing a consistent venue for kids to form friendships and build a routine.
For school programs, I have experience managing large groups, such as my sessions for 500 students at Nadakkavu GHSS, where we focus on group dynamics and positive reinforcement. I keep the intensity managed by rotating between high-paced movement and slower, focus-based games to ensure every child, regardless of their energy level, feels included and confident.
