Festive and Occasion Mehndi Designs in Delhi
Mehndi is a celebration in itself. Whether it's the devotion of Karwa Chauth, the joy of Rakshabandhan, or any family gathering, I create custom festival designs that capture the mood of your special day using 100% natural henna.
A classic Karwa Chauth design, featuring the ritual of looking at the moon through a sieve. The lotus motif on the wrist adds a touch of elegance.
A special design for Rakshabandhan, with a portrait of a brother and sister tying a rakhi. The wristband is designed to look like a rakhi itself.
A complete Karwa Chauth story on both hands. One palm shows a woman looking at the moon, while the other shows the couple together, celebrating their bond.
A bold and beautiful lotus design. The symmetry and use of negative space make this a modern and striking choice for any festival or party.
A stylish and contemporary design with repeating lotus motifs. The criss-cross pattern on the fingers adds a chic, geometric touch.
About Festive & Occasion-Based Designs
My approach to festival mehndi is rooted in tradition but customized to your specific celebration. I use only 100% natural, organic henna mixed with clove and eucalyptus oil, ensuring a rich, deep stain that lasts through the festivities, whether you are celebrating Karwa Chauth with intricate moon motifs or Rakshabandhan with specific symbols that represent your bond.
Festivals are about moments, and I believe your mehndi should reflect that. Based in Rajouri Garden, I have spent years perfecting designs for various Indian festivals, treating each application as a form of meditation.
Customization for Every Occasion Unlike generic patterns, I design based on the festival's significance:
- Karwa Chauth: I focus on narrative elements like the moon, the sieve, and couple portraits that hold deep meaning for the occasion.
- Rakshabandhan: I incorporate motifs that represent the brother-sister bond and can integrate specific symbols or names.
- Teej & Other Events: I offer everything from bold floral Arabic patterns to delicate minimalist vines depending on your comfort and the scale of the gathering.
My Process I use a 0.35mm to 0.5mm fine-tip cone to ensure clean lines. My preparation process starts with hand-mixed henna (prepared 24-48 hours in advance) so that the color develops deeply without any chemicals. I also provide aftercare instructions, specifically the use of lemon-sugar syrup, to seal the design and enhance the darkness of the stain.
Practical Tips for Booking Festivals get busy, especially in Delhi NCR. If you have a specific vision in mind, like a portrait or a heavy traditional design, it helps to discuss it with me a few days before. This allows me to prepare the right cone consistency and motifs ahead of time. Whether you want a full palm design or just a quick, elegant vine for a family function, I am here to make your festival feel a little more special.
