About My Artistry: Process & Happy Clients
When you book a session, I always recommend waxing a day or two before your appointment. It provides me with a clean, smooth canvas, which is essential for the henna to flow perfectly and for the stain to come out as rich and dark as possible. This small step makes a significant difference in the final finish of your design.
For me, mehndi is not just a service; it is a form of meditation. When I sit down to create, I focus entirely on the connection between the art and the person receiving it. Whether it is a bride wanting to incorporate a portrait of her partner or someone looking for traditional Indian motifs, my goal is to ensure the design feels personal and meaningful.
My process in the studio is deliberate. I use a triple-sifted, natural organic henna paste that I prepare 24 to 48 hours in advance to ensure the richest possible stain. You will often find me using a 0.35mm or 0.5mm tip cone, depending on whether the design requires delicate, fine-line detailing or bold, filled-in shading.
I value the collaboration with my clients. Before we finalize anything for your wedding or festival, I often create a rough digital sketch or provide a trial session. This ensures that the patterns we choose complement your personal style and attire. From the initial consultation at my Rajouri Garden studio to the final application, I am present to guide you. If you have a specific motif in mind or a story you want to narrate through henna, bring it to me. We will work together to make your hands a canvas for something truly special.
