Ramandeep Singh Kapoor: Elite Sports Training & Karate Coaching
From National Karate podiums to MSc-backed sports science. I don't just teach theory; I build athletes who understand the mechanics of their own power.
This is what we train for. A single, decisive moment where speed, power, and technique come together. This Ippon at the Asian Karate Championship is the result of countless hours of dedicated strength and conditioning.
Building the foundation of power. This session focuses on complex Olympic lifts like the barbell snatch and foundational strength movements like the hip thrust. Proper form here is everything for generating explosive force on the mat.
Speed kills. This sequence shows plyometric training in action, combining weighted jumps, hurdle drills for agility, and explosive box jumps. We train your muscles to fire faster, making you quicker and more reactive.
Strength isn't just about lifting heavy, it's about control. Here, I combine a trap bar deadlift for raw power with a single-leg Romanian Deadlift on a BOSU ball. This advanced drill builds stability and corrects muscle imbalances.
The result of dedication. Holding the Gold Medal for Team India at the South Asian Karate Championship. This is proof that my training methods deliver results at the highest international level.
It's not just physical. My philosophy, shared here at a Josh Talks session, is that a champion's mindset is forged through overcoming adversity. I train your mind for resilience just as hard as I train your body.
Mastering your own bodyweight is a non-negotiable part of my training. This L-sit rope climb demonstrates the kind of upper body and core strength we build, which is essential for any combat athlete.
Staying in the game is priority number one. My background in Sports Medicine means I use techniques like kinesiology taping to support muscles, aid recovery, and manage the physical stress of elite training.
About Featured
This isn't just standard gym work. When I run these sessions at Fit N Fab or travel to your location, we are applying sports medicine principles to every single rep. Whether it is correcting your biomechanics on a trap bar deadlift or using plyometrics to shave seconds off your sprint, my focus is on making you bulletproof against injury while building elite-level explosiveness.
I started as an aam munda in the grind, and now I use that same sweat and discipline to coach others. My approach is simple: Train smart, not just hard. Having competed at the South Asian Karate Championship and studied sports medicine, I know the difference between 'working out' and 'training.'
My programs aren't for people who just want to stand on a treadmill. We focus on:
- Functional Mechanics: We use Olympic lifting, single-leg drills, and unstable surface training (BOSU balls) to fix your weaknesses. If your left side is weaker than your right, we address it.
- Injury Prevention: This is priority number one. With my background in kinesiology taping and rehabilitation, we don't just push through pain; we manage it so you stay in the game.
- Mindset Resilience: Physical ability is half the battle. I train your mind as hard as your body, drawing from my experience in high-pressure competition.
Whether you are training for a police physical, recovering from a strain, or looking to dominate in Kumite, my sessions are designed to move you toward your specific goal. I travel across Delhi and Chandigarh for personal training, or you can join my group batches in Najafgarh.
