Music has always been my way of connecting, and my love for French chanson started with Carla Bruni. Learning to sing in French opened up a new way to express stories—there is a specific elegance in these tracks that transforms the atmosphere of a room. Whether you are hosting a cultural evening at the Alliance Française or looking for a distinct theme for a wedding cocktail hour, this repertoire sets a sophisticated, reflective tone.
My sets range from the timeless works of Georges Brassens to the modern pop-folk sensibility of Patricia Kaas. For smaller gatherings, I perform as an acoustic duo (vocals plus guitar or keys), which keeps the sound stripped back and personal. For larger festivals or high-energy functions, I collaborate with a full ensemble—drums, bass, and keys—to bring a richer, more dynamic sound.
I approach these performances with the same rigor as my practice sessions in my music room. I know that for many guests, French might be a new sound, so I balance the setlist with familiar, upbeat tracks alongside slower, soulful ballads.
