Pricing Guide
Acoustic Duo (Vocals + Guitar/Keys)
Core Configuration
- Artists: 2 artists (Rajni Shivaram on Vocals + 1 Professional Accompanist on Acoustic Guitar or Keyboard).
- Duration: Up to 120 minutes performance time (typically split into two 45-minute sets or three 30-minute sets with breaks).
- Genres: Jazz standards, Blues, English Retro (classic rock/pop), French Chansons, and acoustic Hindi/Bollywood melodies.
Logistics & Requirements
- Equipment: Includes professional microphones (e.g., Shure SM58), in-ear monitors, and personal instruments.
- Setup Style: Stationary performance with use of a music stand or tablet for multi-lingual lyrical accuracy.
- Client Requirements: Client must provide external PA System, Speakers, Mixer, and Stage Lighting (not included in price).
Full 4-5 Piece Live Band
Core Configuration
- Artists: 4 to 5 Musicians (Vocals, Drums, Bass, Guitar, and/or Keyboard).
- Duration: 90 to 120 minutes of high-energy performance.
- Genres: Upbeat Classic Rock (Queen, Elton John), Funk, upbeat Blues, and Pop Rock.
Logistics & Requirements
- Sound Check: Includes a mandatory 60-90 minute sound check prior to the event.
- Equipment: Musicians bring personal instruments (Guitars, Bass, Snare/Cymbals, Keyboards).
- Client Requirements: Client must provide full PA system, Monitors, Drum Kit shell, and Amplifiers per Technical Rider.
- Venue Requirements: Dedicated performance stage and crew hospitality (F&B) required.

Why I Do This
Music's always been my safe space - not about being a rockstar, but about finding truth and connection. I’ve had my fair share of struggles with my voice and confidence; honestly, I still do. But I’ve learned to love the imperfections and bring that journey to my performances. For me, it’s about collaboration, not showing off.

My Sound & Styles
I’m drawn to blues and jazz; those genres just feel right for me. If you want an acoustic blues singer or jazz big band entertainment, that’s my jam. I also do pop, soul, classic rock, folk, funk, country - depends on the mood.
I get a kick out of performing in different languages and styles:
- French live music act with everything from Edith Piaf to Carla Bruni.
- Bollywood covers for events, reimagined my way.
- My own original music with my band, Midnight Poppies.

My Story
Hey, I’m Rajni. Never felt like I fit in, even after engineering and a Master’s—music was my escape. I don’t have a powerhouse voice; I’ve had to grind for every note, fight off self-doubt, and keep learning. Books, treks, French songs (thanks Carla Bruni!), all that keeps me grounded. I like real connections, not just Insta likes. My journey’s messy, but it’s mine, and honestly, I wouldn’t swap it for anything.
