About Light Festive Wear: Kurta Sets & Jackets
The Nehru jacket is the real workhorse in my light festive collection. Unlike standard, flimsy vests, I use structured jacquard or raw silk blends with internal fusing, which ensures the jacket sits sharp on your shoulders throughout a long Mehendi or Haldi ceremony. You get the polish of a structured suit with the comfort of a traditional kurta.
When you walk into a celebration, the right fabric and fit define your presence. My 3-piece sets are designed to give you that effortless edge. I focus on Art Silk and Cotton Satin for the base kurta, keeping them breathable yet elegant, while the Nehru jacket acts as the focal point with jacquard weaves or subtle digital prints.
Every set in this collection is designed to be versatile. The Cowl drapes offer a modern twist for a Sangeet, while my classic straight-cut kurtas with Aligarhi pajamas are ideal for festive pujas or family gatherings. I keep the detailing deliberate—matte buttons and light machine embroidery that catch the light without looking gaudy.
Since I run my studio in Malad, I oversee the final look of every outfit personally. You are not buying off a rack that requires a total overhaul; I provide standard ready-to-wear sizing from 36 to 44 with minor alterations included.
