Stress Relief and Deep Relaxation Therapies
Modern life in Bengaluru is fast and demanding, often leaving us drained and anxious. Our traditional Ayurvedic therapies help you disconnect, destress, and restore your natural balance using time-tested techniques like Shirodhara and herbal oil massages.
Shirodhara is the ultimate therapy for mental relaxation. As warm oil flows over your third eye, it pacifies the mind, relieves anxiety and insomnia, and leaves you in a state of deep, meditative calm.
This video captures the goal of every session at my center: to help you truly relax. My Ayurvedic massages are a dedicated time for you to let go of stress and allow your body and mind to heal.
Takradhara uses medicated buttermilk streamed over the forehead for its powerful cooling and calming properties. This therapy is excellent for reducing mental stress, alleviating headaches, and treating insomnia and depression.
I offer a range of Ayurvedic warm oil massages tailored to your needs. From a full-body Sarvanga Abhyanga to a targeted Shiro Abhyanga for the head, each massage uses medicated oils to provide specific therapeutic benefits.
Don't underestimate the power of a foot massage, or Pada Abhyanga. This treatment not only soothes tired feet but also calms the entire nervous system, promoting better sleep and improving circulation throughout the body.
Nasya Karma is a therapy involving the administration of medicated oils through the nasal passage. It is highly effective for relieving stress, improving vision, preventing headaches, and clearing sinus congestion.
About Stress Relief & Deep Relaxation
Before we start any stress relief therapy, we check your current state. If you are struggling with insomnia or heat in the body, we often recommend Takradhara, using medicated buttermilk to cool the mind. If your stress is more physical, presenting as chronic stiffness or anxiety, a warm oil Abhyanga massage is usually our first step. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all, so your session is always tailored to exactly what your body needs that day.
Our Approach to Deep Relaxation
When stress takes over, it often manifests as a Vata dosha imbalance, leading to sleep issues, joint stiffness, and a racing mind. At Rajeshwari Ayurdhama, we do not just mask the symptoms. We focus on calming the nervous system using ancient practices that have been refined over generations.
Why Our Therapies Work
- Shirodhara: We use a continuous, rhythmic stream of warm, dosha-specific oil over the forehead. This is widely considered the most effective way to calm a hyperactive mind, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep quality.
- Takradhara: Unlike standard oil treatments, this uses medicated buttermilk. It is deeply cooling and specifically indicated for those suffering from migraines, mental fatigue, or severe heat in the body.
- Full Body Abhyanga: Our rhythmic massage strokes with warm, medicated oil do more than relax muscles. They stimulate circulation and move lymphatic fluid, which helps in flushing out the toxins that accumulate during periods of high stress.
What to Expect
Our clinic in Bagalakunte is designed to be a quiet space where you can step away from the noise of the city. When you arrive for a session, we start with a brief assessment to identify which herbal oil will be most effective for your current physical and mental state. Whether you need the cooling properties of Takradhara or the grounding effect of Abhyanga, we ensure the environment, the temperature, and the pressure are adjusted to make your recovery as smooth as possible. We focus on results, and our goal is for you to walk out feeling lighter and more centered than when you arrived.
