Conceptual and Themed Photography Shoots
Conceptual shoots are where we push creative boundaries. By working closely with designers, stylists, and artists, I turn a simple idea into a visual story that captures exactly the mood you want.

About Conceptual & Themed Shoots
These shoots are a team effort. Before we even pick up the camera, we sit down with stylists and makeup artists to map out a mood board, ensuring the lighting, wardrobe, and expressions align perfectly with the theme you have in mind.
Conceptual photography isn't just about the click. It is about building a set, understanding the light, and directing the emotion. When we work on themed projects like my 'Navataar' series, we treat the location, the jewelry, and the wardrobe as characters in the story.
My Process
Every conceptual shoot starts with a pre-shoot consultation. We discuss your vision, the color palette, and the level of drama you want to achieve.
- Storyboarding: We sketch out the shots before the shoot date. This ensures we don't waste time on the day of the event.
- Lighting Design: Whether we need high-contrast, moody, low-key lighting or bright, ethereal studio setups, I handle the lighting geometry to match the narrative.
- Team Collaboration: I bring in specialized MUAs and stylists who understand how to style for the camera. This is crucial for editorial and thematic work where every accessory must be in place.
Why Themed Shoots?
Whether it is a traditional festive theme, a gritty urban look, or high-fashion editorial, these images stand out because they are intentional. We use advanced techniques—like using gels, smoke machines, or specific torch lighting—to move beyond standard portraiture.
