When you see us in action, you will notice we focus heavily on lighting adjustments and subtle guidance rather than rigid, forced posing. Whether we are setting up off-camera flash for a dramatic night shot or adjusting a Nauvari saree drape for a traditional portrait, the goal is always to keep you relaxed so the final frames feel authentic.
My process is built on the idea that the best photos happen when you forget the camera is there. Since 2015, I have refined a workflow that prioritizes your comfort, whether we are shooting in the bustling streets of Mumbai or at a quiet venue in Pune.
The Workflow
- Guidance over Posing: You do not need to be a model. I offer gentle directions to help you feel natural, focusing on movement and genuine interaction rather than holding static positions.
- Lighting Control: You will often see me with a light stand or reflector. Whether it is chasing the sunset or using off-camera flash to create a moody, film-like atmosphere, I manage the light so you do not have to worry about the time of day.
- Collaborative Effort: A shoot is a team effort. My assistants are there to handle the gear and logistics, allowing us to move quickly between locations, which is vital for getting those varied shots within our session timeline.
