About Behind the Scenes: Our Process
The biggest thing you will notice on a shoot with me is that we are not just standing around with cameras. My team and I use gimbals for smooth movement and drones for those wide venue shots, but more importantly, we keep the energy light so you stop worrying about the camera and just enjoy the moment.
People often ask how we get the natural shots they see on our feed, especially when they tell me they are camera-shy. It starts with how we structure the team. For a standard wedding, I do not send one person to do everything. We show up as a team of three or more, each with a clear role. One handles the traditional shots so your family portraits are covered, while the other is focused purely on candid moments and cinematic angles.
We use Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras for their low-light performance because most wedding rituals in Mumbai happen in the evening or night. If you see a smooth, floating shot in your wedding film, that is thanks to the gimbal setups my team carries. When we are shooting outdoor events or grand Maharashtrian weddings, we bring out the drone. It helps us get those massive venue shots that show the scale of your celebration.
I spend a lot of time before the event understanding if you are nervous. If you are, we start slow. We do not just shove a camera in your face. We talk, we joke, and we wait for the real expressions. Whether it is the Haldi or the main pheras, my goal is for you to forget we are even there. That is how we capture the 'julun yeti reshimgaathi' moments, where the emotion is raw and real.
