Stop the endless swiping. Join intimate, intentional spaces designed for honest conversation and finding your real-life tribe.

The spirit of my "Bring Your Own Diya" party. It’s not about grand celebrations but about creating a warm, welcoming space for those who are away from family during festivals. We come together to share food, light diyas, and create our own festive family.

I hosted a "Letters from Love" session, inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert. We used writing prompts to explore our feelings and share our stories in a safe, vulnerable space. These events are designed to foster deep, meaningful connections.

"Sisters in Stories" is a sisterhood of single women that meets monthly for a free journaling session. Here are snippets from our gatherings across Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Sydney, where we share, connect, and empower each other.

A happy moment from our Diwali party. We created a DIY photo frame with marigolds to capture the joy of the occasion. It's these small, creative touches that make my events special.

A group of new friends made at our "Bring Your Own Diya" party. The goal is simple: to ensure no one has to celebrate alone.

Glimpses from our cozy Diwali celebration. We welcomed over 30 people into our home, shared soan papdi, played games, and created a memorable festival together.

The wonderful group from our "Sisters in Stories" May edition in Bengaluru. We create a non-judgmental space for single women to share their journeys and build lasting friendships.

About this collection

Most networking events feel like a chore with forced small talk and endless business card swapping. I run things differently. Whether it’s a ‘Bring Your Own Diya’ Diwali party or a journaling session for single women, we strip away the performance. We focus on low-pressure spaces where you don’t need to impress, just show up as you are.

Finding your people in a new city or navigating the loneliness of adulthood doesn't have to happen on an app. I design experiences that help you break through the superficial layers of standard social mixers.

Why these formats work

Traditional events often rely on ‘mandatory fun’ or alcohol to get people talking. My approach is different. I build gatherings around specific shared activities—like reading, writing, or celebrating festivals in a home-like setting. This removes the pressure to perform. When you are busy swapping books or lighting diyas, the conversation happens naturally, not because someone forced a microphone into your hand.

The types of spaces I build

  • Festival Celebrations: Like our ‘Bring Your Own Diya’ parties, these are for those who want the warmth of family during festivals but are living away from home. We welcome guests into a cozy setting, share homemade sweets, and create a family-like bond from scratch.
  • Journaling & Reflection: My ‘Sisters in Stories’ circles offer a non-judgmental space for single women. We use writing prompts to explore real life, past experiences, and future goals, creating connections that go far deeper than a standard networking mixer.
  • Book & Hobby Swaps: These aren't just for book nerds. I organize these sessions to use conversation menus, helping strangers connect over their shared love for stories. It is about removing the friction of ‘what do I say next?’ and letting the content of the books lead the way.

Everything I do is rooted in intentional design. Whether I am moderating a discussion for a startup summit or running a small Sunday breakfast club, my goal is the same: helping you move from 'stranger' to 'friend' without the awkwardness.

I'm Radhika. I believe your social life shouldn't feel like a never-ending job interview. I started by just wanting to feel at home in a new city, and now I build the kind of spaces I was searching for myself.
