From Concept to Completion: Our Design Journey
Beautiful spaces are not created in a vacuum. We pull back the curtain to show you the real process, from the first sketches to the construction dust on site.
This video shows one of my sites during the construction phase. It's in this "messy middle" that the true foundation of a great design is laid, from framing and wiring to drywall. It is a crucial part of the journey to a finished space.
About From Concept to Completion
The messy middle is where the actual architecture happens. While the 3D renders show you the dream, this phase involves on-site coordination, like positioning acoustic ceiling baffles and ensuring electrical loops are perfectly placed, to ensure your home actually functions as beautifully as it looks.
We believe in complete transparency. A stunning final photograph is only the result of hundreds of small decisions made during the construction phase.
The Reality of Site Execution
When we take on a project, whether it is a luxury farmhouse in Delhi or a commercial office fitout, the transition from paper to reality is where our expertise shines. We manage the site, which includes:
- Technical Coordination: Managing MEP layouts for HVAC and lighting to ensure no wires clutter your clean lines.
- Material Selection: Visiting vendor showrooms to ensure the marble, veneers, and fabrics match the mood boards we created together.
- Quality Supervision: Our site engineers are on the ground to ensure the execution partners follow the GFC (Good For Construction) drawings, specifically regarding joinery and custom furniture.
From Drawing to Dust
Our design process is rooted in planning. We start with space optimization and 2D layouts before moving to photorealistic 3D rendering. This allows us to iron out issues with circulation or lighting placement long before any wall is built. By the time we start the actual build, we have a clear Bill of Quantities and a defined theme. This prevents delays and ensures that the final outcome matches the vision we promised during the concept phase. We share these updates because we know the journey to your finished space should be as rewarding as living in it.
