Our art classes help children express themselves, improve motor skills, and develop patience through hands-on, creative projects.

A proud moment for one of our little Asters, showcasing her beautiful and colorful landscape drawing. Our art classes encourage children to explore different techniques and express their unique artistic vision.

Thumb printing is a fantastic way for children to get creative while improving their fine motor control. Here, one of our senior Asters is carefully making a family of little chicks, turning a simple thumbprint into a work of art.

Concentration is key during our drawing sessions. This little Aster is carefully sketching his design, learning to translate his ideas onto paper and developing his artistic skills one line at a time.

As part of our Friendship Day celebrations, this student is carefully threading beads to create a special bracelet. This activity not only results in a lovely keepsake but also enhances focus and hand-eye coordination.

Another one of our little Asters is completely absorbed in making a friendship bracelet. These craft activities help children develop patience and precision, all while creating something meaningful for a friend.

Best friends showing off the beautiful bracelets they made for each other. Celebrating friendship through creative activities helps us teach our children about the value of relationships and sharing.

This collage captures our little Asters engaged in a shapes and seasons activity. Through coloring and cutting, they learn about different geometric shapes and the characteristics of each season in a fun, interactive way.

A young student is focused on coloring a tree cutout for our seasons craft project. This activity helps children learn about the different colors associated with seasons like autumn, spring, and summer.

This little artist is carefully choosing her crayons to color a tree representing one of the four seasons. Our craft sessions are designed to be both educational and a wonderful outlet for creativity.

With great concentration, this student colors in his craft project about the seasons. Activities like this help reinforce classroom learning about weather and nature in a tangible, artistic way.

About Creative Arts & Crafts

In our studio, we see art as a tool for developmental growth. Rather than focusing on a perfect end product, we encourage children to engage with the process, whether they are threading beads for a bracelet or learning to color within shapes during a seasons project. This hands-on approach helps students in RMV Extension build fine motor skills, focus, and confidence in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
