Invert Art & Negative Sketch Gallery
This is where the asli jaadu happens. These are not just drawings; they are negative sketches that reveal a hyper-realistic portrait the moment you use your phone's invert filter. It is my way of making art that demands your full attention.
This is where the asli jaadu happens. Watch as I take a sketch that looks like a photo negative and, with a simple phone filter, reveal the hidden hyper-realistic portrait of the music icon Zayn Malik. This video shows my entire invert art process, from the first line to the final magical transformation.
Capturing the intensity of a character like Rocky Bhai from KGF is a journey. This video gives you a look into the hours of mehnat and focus that go into creating one of my tribute portraits, building the image layer by layer until the monster is unleashed.
Here is the final invert portrait of the one and only Rocky Bhai. This is what the finished art looks like before the reveal, a powerful negative image holding all the detail and intensity, ready to be transformed. It's a tribute to a character that has inspired millions.

A look at the art midway through the process. This work in progress shows how I build the portrait by sketching with opposite colors, swapping light for shadow. You can see the face beginning to take shape from the reversed tones, a crucial stage in bringing the final image to life.

About Featured
Every piece here is built on one simple rule: patience. Creating an invert sketch takes 50 to 90 hours because I am not just drawing; I am reversing every light and shadow to create a negative that hides the final picture. When you hold your phone up and toggle the invert filter, the magic happens. You see the depth of the skin texture, the intensity in the eyes, and all the detail I have spent days perfecting.
How the Magic Works
When you look at the raw sketch, it looks like a photo negative. That is intentional. I use professional-grade graphite, charcoal, and white pens on 200-250 GSM acid-free paper to map out these inverted tones. It requires a deep understanding of light physics because I am essentially drawing with the opposite logic of a standard portrait.
The Reveal
To see the final result, you simply point your smartphone camera at the sketch and turn on your 'invert colors' filter. The negative instantly becomes a positive, hyper-realistic portrait. It is a transformation that stops people in their tracks.
My Process
Every portrait follows a strict process to ensure quality:
- Composition: I focus on a single face or a couple, using the grid method to maintain exact proportions.
- Execution: Whether it is a tribute to a legend like Rocky Bhai or a custom piece for your wall, I dedicate 50 to 90 hours of labor to get the shading right.
- Preservation: Once finished, I apply a multi-layer archival matte fixative to prevent smudging and preserve the contrast.
- Delivery: Your art is protected with butter paper and shipped in a rigid PVC tube to ensure it reaches you exactly as I drew it.
