Every material I touch has a history. From Jaipur marble scraps to discarded city remnants, I give forgotten objects a second life through slow, meditative sculpture.

These three forms, part of my 'Biography' series, appear as delicate, floating leaves. They are designed to interact with light, casting intricate shadows that transform the space around them, telling a story of form, fragility, and the passage of time.

A closer look reveals the unexpected truth of the material. Each of these floral-like textures is a single, discarded cigarette butt, cleaned and stitched by hand. This transformation from waste to wonder is at the heart of my practice.

This is 'KAMA', a monumental sculpture of a female pelvic bone crafted from thousands of marble blast stones. It is an interactive piece, a tribute to womanhood and creation, inviting viewers to step inside a space of origin and contemplation.

Here is how my work can live within a home. This site-specific installation was created for a private residence in Pune, designed to flow with the architecture of the spiral staircase and become a living part of the home's daily life.

This circular sculpture, installed at Jaigarh Fort, represents the cyclical nature of existence. Made from countless cigarette butts, it hangs in a historic space, creating a dialogue between contemporary waste and timeless architecture.

This video offers a glimpse into my Jaipur studio, showing the slow, meditative process of transforming discarded materials. You can see my team and I meticulously cleaning, sorting, and stitching each cigarette butt, giving forgotten objects a new story.

Sharing the story behind my work is an essential part of my process. This video shows an artist walkthrough for my 'Biography' exhibition, where I discuss the years of labor and the philosophical ideas woven into the sculptures with an engaged audience.

About Featured

When we begin a custom commission, the first step is exploring your space's architectural light and volume. Whether it is a cascading 20ft installation for an atrium or a wall-mounted piece for your living room, these works require a technical team to manage installation, ensuring the internal armature and anchors are as precisely executed as the art itself.

My practice is built on a simple premise, that waste is often just an unfinished story. In my studio, we do not work with fast methods. Instead, we spend months cleaning, sorting, and stitching materials that others overlook.

The Material Journey

Each project begins with sourcing. For my marble pieces, I look for fragments discarded from statue carvings in Jaipur. For my cellulose sculptures, I collect thousands of cigarette butts, sanitizing them until they lose their original odor and form, eventually becoming organic, leaf-like textures. This is a slow, meditative labor that requires patience from both the artist and the client.

Site-Specific Design

When you commission a piece, we are not just adding an object to a room. We are creating a dialogue. I visit your site or analyze your architectural plans to understand how light moves through your space. A 20ft vertical installation requires structural planning, stainless steel suspension cables, and aviation-grade anchors. Smaller wall pieces use hidden French cleat systems to float against your wall, creating shadows that change throughout the day.

From Jaipur to Your Space

Every piece is hand-assembled in my Jaipur studio. For larger installations, I travel with a technical team to handle the assembly on-site, ensuring the weight and balance are perfectly calibrated for your wall or ceiling. Whether it is for a corporate lobby or a private home, the goal is to create a living document that breathes with the architecture.
