About Bachata: My Signature Style
In my classes, you don't need to bring a partner. We use a mandatory rotation system, which means you'll dance with different people throughout the session. This isn't just to help you learn faster—it’s how we build the community vibe that makes social dancing in Delhi so much fun. If you're a beginner, this is the quickest way to get comfortable with leading, following, and finding your own flow.
My Approach to Bachata
Dance is my way of connecting with people. In these sessions, we break down the music and the movement so it becomes second nature. Whether we are working on Sensual Bachata, where the focus is on smooth body movement and connection, or Urban Bachata, which is all about intricate patterns and creativity, the goal is the same: to enjoy the music.
What You Can Expect
- Beginner-Friendly: If you have never danced before, do not worry. We start from the absolute basics. You will learn the core footwork, timing, and how to comfortably lead or follow a partner.
- Technical but Natural: I teach the mechanics—the spins, the frame, the weight transfers—but we keep it soft and flowing. It should feel like a conversation with your partner, not a drill.
- Community Vibe: My classes are a bridge to the Delhi social dance scene. We don't just stay in the studio; we coordinate group visits to local social nights so you can practice what you have learned in a real-world setting.
Logistics & Classes
I run weekend batches at studios in South Delhi like Nehru Enclave and Malviya Nagar. We keep the groups sized for individual attention, usually between 15 and 25 students. If you want a more accelerated approach or have specific goals like wedding choreography or technique refinement, my private coaching sessions offer one-on-one time to analyze your movement and fix micro-details in real-time. Whether you are looking for a weekend hobby or wanting to dive deep into Latin dance, I am here to help you find your groove.
