Pichwai and Sacred Art Murals for Your Home
I bring the peace of traditional Pichwai and sacred art into your living space. Whether it is a hand-painted wall or a 3D relief mural for your mandir, I craft every piece with deep devotion.
Seeing my art become part of a home is the best feeling. Here is a traditional Pichwai wall mural I painted for a residential project, bringing that 'Shivbharat' vibe to the living space. The cows and lotuses create such a peaceful atmosphere.
Another view of the Pichwai wall art, this time with beautiful peacocks joining the sacred cows among the lotus flowers. This was a lovely project in Namma Bengaluru.
A finished Pichwai 3D relief panel for a temple setup. I love how the sacred cows and lotuses pop out from the beautiful blue background. Creating these pieces for a sacred space is a blessing for me. 🙏
Here is the same Pichwai panel with a different color story. The bright red cows and pink lotuses give it such a vibrant and joyful energy. It shows how color can completely change the feeling of a piece.
This is how a 3D relief mural looks before the magic of color is added. Just pure, hand-sculpted clay on a panel. You can see the forms of the cows and lotuses taking shape, ready to be brought to life.
About Pichwai & Sacred Art
When I create 3D relief murals for your mandir, I hand-sculpt every cow and lotus using modeling paste directly on your wall. This builds up to 1.5 inches of depth. Because of this, the drying time is critical. I typically need about a week to finish a standard 40-50 sq. ft. area, as each layer of clay needs to settle before I start the fine painting and detailing.
My work is about more than just decoration, it is about connecting with the 'Shivbharat' spirit in our everyday lives. For these sacred spaces, I offer two distinct approaches depending on the look you want.
Traditional Pichwai Paintings
If you prefer a classic, vibrant look, I paint traditional Pichwai motifs like cows, lotuses, and peacocks directly on your wall. This style is beautiful for creating a focal point in a prayer room or a peaceful corner of your living room. I use high-quality acrylics to ensure the colors stay bright and joyful for years.
3D Relief Murals
For something that feels alive, I create 3D relief murals. I use clay and modeling paste to sculpt figures that literally pop out from the wall. This is a very tactile process. Once the clay is set, I hand-paint the figures with fine detailing, sometimes adding metallic accents in gold or copper to give them a premium, divine finish. These murals work wonders in a home mandir, adding a sense of texture and depth that flat paint just cannot replicate.
Practical Details
I work across Namma Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Goa. Since I do all the sculpting and painting by hand, it is messy work but I take full care of your site. I use drop cloths and masking tape to protect your floors, and I handle the workspace cleanup myself. If you are looking to bring a sense of 'Shivbharat' to your home, I would be honored to create something special for you. 🙏
