Keynote Speaking and TEDx Talks by Prachi Pratap
I do not believe in recycled keynotes. When I step on stage, whether at a university like NIT Srinagar or a corporate summit, I craft the session based on exactly who is sitting in front of me.
A look behind the scenes of my fourth TEDx talk at Hindu College on the theme of *Shakti*. It's a privilege to speak on women-centric issues and the need for greater equity.
Traveling to Kolkata for a TEDx talk at St. Xavier's College. I believe every speaking opportunity is a chance to plant a seed of change and make the law a shield for those who need it.

About On the Stage: Keynotes & TEDx Talks
My approach is simple: I bridge the gap between legal theory and real life. The law shouldn't feel like a distant, confusing concept for your audience—it should feel like a tool they can actually use. I avoid scripted, corporate-style presentations in favor of honest, narrative-driven talks that address digital realities, women's empowerment, and resilience. Whether you need a moderator for a panel or a speaker to challenge your team's perspective, I show up prepared to facilitate a conversation, not just deliver a speech.
My Speaking Philosophy
Every speaking engagement is a chance to plant a seed of change. I don't use generic scripts; I tailor every session to the room. My delivery is a blend of my experience as a Supreme Court practitioner and my passion for legal literacy. I believe in 'Shakti'—the power within—and I use my platform to talk about things that matter: digital safety, gender equity, and how to turn legal setbacks into foundation stones.
What I Bring to the Stage
- Real-world Pragmatism: I don't just quote statutes. I explain how new criminal laws or cyber regulations actually impact daily life, corporate compliance, and personal security.
- Interactive Engagement: My talks are designed to break the fourth wall. I value the open floor, the Q&A sessions, and the moments where a student or employee feels comfortable enough to ask a 'real' question.
- Bilingual Delivery: I naturally code-switch between English and Hindi to ensure that complex legal concepts remain accessible, whether I am speaking at a college campus or a government workshop.
Core Themes
- Digital Reality: From social media addiction and its impact on the dopamine reward system to the rise in cybercrime among youth.
- Women's Empowerment: Moving beyond the buzzwords to discuss real equity in law, leadership, and professional survival.
- Professional Resilience: Lessons from my journey as a first-generation lawyer and a working mother on how to build a career from scratch.
If you are looking for a speaker who cuts through the noise and provides actionable insights rather than corporate jargon, let's connect. I bring the same rigor to the stage that I bring to the courtroom.
Prachi Pratap
I am an accidental lawyer who believes that the best way to understand the law is to break it down for everyone. Teaching is in my blood, passed down from my nani and mother, so speaking to a crowd is not a performance—it is a way to share the lessons I have learned on the ground.
