I transform complex legal theory into practical tools for officials, law enforcement, and corporate teams. My workshops bridge the gap between policy and real-world implementation.

A glimpse from a training program on the newly enacted criminal laws for officials from various ministries and legislative assemblies. It is vital to ensure a smooth transition and implementation of these new legal frameworks.

Receiving a certificate after conducting a workshop on legislative drafting at the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies (ICPS). Teaching complex topics like the Doctrine of Pith & Substance is always a learning experience.

A clip from my session teaching the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies. To keep going and keep growing is the biggest lesson.

Conducting a virtual workshop on legal rights for the Girl Up campaign, even from my car during a personal emergency. Commitments are important, and giving up is the easiest option, but fortitude is built by showing up.

Screenshots from a virtual POSH workshop I conducted. With only around 400 reported incidents in NCRB data, it's clear that creating the confidence to report is as important as the law itself.

After a talk on penology and bail jurisprudence. My daughter asked why I was the only woman. It's a reminder that we must own our voice and be confident in our ability to lead, especially when we are the only woman in the room.

About Training the System: Workshops for Officials & Professionals

These sessions are not lectures where I just talk at you. I run these as 2-3 hour hybrid workshops, mixing hard legal theory with case analysis to ensure the content is usable the moment you walk out the door. Whether we are tackling POSH compliance or the nuances of the new Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, I deliver in a bilingual mix of English and Hindi to ensure clarity across every level of your organization.

Bridging Law and Practice

My approach to legal training is grounded in my daily practice as a Supreme Court lawyer. I don’t believe in dry, academic recitation of statutes. Instead, I focus on the 'how-to'—how to file an FIR, how to navigate the new Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), or how to structure an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) that actually works.

Core Training Modules

  • POSH & Workplace Safety: Moving beyond mere compliance, I help organizations understand the 'why' behind the law. We analyze landmark judgments and address why the confidence to report incidents matters more than just having a policy on paper.
  • New Criminal Laws (BNS/BNSS): I guide government officers and police personnel through the 2024 changes. We break down the consolidation of provisions and what they mean for daily investigation and legislative work.
  • Legislative Drafting: For policy makers and students, I conduct deep-dives into the Doctrine of Pith & Substance, colorable legislation, and the nuances of drafting laws that stand the test of judicial scrutiny.

My Teaching Philosophy

Having conducted sessions at venues like the Parliament Library and the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies (ICPS), I value the exchange of ideas. I view every workshop as a Socratic dialogue—I bring the law, and the participants bring their real-world queries. We leave with Shukr (gratitude) for the knowledge gained. If your team requires legal clarity, let’s ensure it is practical, accessible, and applicable.

I am a first-generation lawyer who believes law is a shield, not a weapon of confusion. My goal is to strip away the jargon and help you or your team navigate the system with confidence, whether you are a corporate manager or a public servant.
