When we shoot in sarees, we are not just taking photos, we are documenting a tradition you might pass down. I use specifically chosen vintage props and moody lighting to complement the fabric's drape and rich colors, ensuring the final image looks more like an oil painting than a digital snapshot.

My Approach to Saree Portraits
In my Whitefield studio, I work with hand-picked vintage props—think antique gramophones, heavy wooden desks, and warm, diffused lighting—that ground these images in a classic, fine-art aesthetic. The goal is to avoid the standard, bright-light maternity look. Instead, I aim for deep shadows, rich contrasts, and a mood that feels intimate and regal.
