Featured Cinematic Portraits & Event Photography
I don't believe in scripts or forced poses. Whether it’s an intimate birthday bash or a fashion-forward editorial shoot, my focus is on capturing that specific, unfiltered energy that makes you who you are.
This is what I mean by cinematic. For this evening event shoot, I used dramatic lighting to capture the flow of this incredible gown, making the moment feel like a scene from a movie. It’s all about finding that star quality.
Birthdays are about chaos, cake, and pure happiness. I love capturing these unscripted moments between friends. This video shows the energy of a real celebration, from the sparklers to the candid laughter.
I believe traditional wear has its own modern attitude. Here, I focused on capturing a genuine, radiant smile, letting the vibrant colors of the silk saree and the classic gold jewelry shine in a clean, elegant portrait.
My style is about playing with light and shadow to create a mood. This portrait uses a mirror and low-key lighting to create a dramatic, reflective image that feels both powerful and intimate. This is a great example of a moody portrait session.
Holiday shoots should be fun and reflect your personality. For this Christmas themed session, we went for a playful and candid vibe, capturing a genuine smile next to the festive tree. It shows how we can create unique photos for any celebration.
Your energy is the main event. This outdoor portrait captures a spontaneous, joyful moment. The natural setting and the flowing lehenga create a vibrant, fresh look that’s perfect for pre-wedding shoots or personal fashion portfolios.
A great portrait is in the details. This close-up shot focuses on the emotion and the intricate details of the styling, from the expressive look to the statement jewelry. It’s a perfect example of a glamorous event portrait.
About this collection
My process is simple: I don't script your life. Whether you’re booking a birthday event or a creative portrait session, I focus on catching the moments where you aren't posing—the laugh, the glare, the real emotion. My job is to handle the lighting and framing so you can just be yourself. If you're nervous about how you look on camera, we’ll skip the stiff poses and find your natural flow instead.
Photography, for me, is about balancing that 'kannendare kattiyante' (eyes like a sword) intensity with the 'nageyendare hoovante' (smile like a flower) softness. You’ll see this in my work—I constantly play with shadows and light to give your images a cinematic, high-fashion finish, even at a casual birthday party.
My Approach
- Event Coverage: I don't just stand in the corner snapping photos. I move with the energy of your event. From the chaos of a dance floor to the quiet moments during a speech, I look for the story in the movement. You get 120-150 color-corrected shots that look like they belong in a spread.
- Editorial Portraits: If you book a creative session, we’re doing more than just 'taking pictures.' We collaborate on the vibe. I provide specific direction on angles and movement to make you feel like the main character. I handle the retouching personally, ensuring your skin texture stays real while the color grading pops.
- The Technicals: I use a mix of on-camera flash for that raw, documentary look, and off-camera lighting for portraits that need that dramatic, high-end punch. I work in and around Bengaluru and am happy to travel if the project matches my style.
Everything I deliver is built on the philosophy that you don't need to be a model to look like one. You just need to be comfortable. Let's create something that feels like a scene from a movie, but is entirely you.
Acchu
Hi, I’m Acchu. I treat a camera like a tool to show you who you actually are, not who you think you should be. I love mixing dramatic, moody lighting with the chaotic joy of real celebrations. If you want photos that feel like a scene from a movie but still look exactly like you, let’s talk.
