This is what I mean by cinematic. For this evening event shoot, I used dramatic lighting to capture the flow of this incredible gown, making the moment feel like a scene from a movie. It’s all about finding that star quality.

Birthdays are about chaos, cake, and pure happiness. I love capturing these unscripted moments between friends. This video shows the energy of a real celebration, from the sparklers to the candid laughter.

I believe traditional wear has its own modern attitude. Here, I focused on capturing a genuine, radiant smile, letting the vibrant colors of the silk saree and the classic gold jewelry shine in a clean, elegant portrait.

This is one of my favorite portraits from the Maha Kumbh. To capture authentic moments, I believe you have to get close and build a connection, even if it's brief. The intensity in his eyes tells a story that words cannot.5
The atmosphere inside the sadhus' tents was otherworldly. I used the available light to capture the moody, intense feeling of the space. This man, covered in sacred ash with his trishul, sat with a quiet power that was palpable.
Not every shot is a direct portrait. Much of my work is about capturing people as they are, living their lives. This candid moment on the streets of Varanasi shows a sadhu amidst the energy of the festival.
It is hard to convey the sheer scale of the Maha Kumbh. This image gives a sense of the immense crowd gathered by the river. Documenting large cultural events like this is about capturing both the grand scale and the individual stories within it.

It was an honor to photograph world-class badminton player Saina Nehwal. The goal for this corporate event portrait was to create a look that was both professional and approachable, using soft window light to capture her natural confidence and warm personality.
"ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಮೂಡಿರುವ ಬಣ್ಣ ನೀನು!" You are the color that appears even in closed eyes. This close-up portrait is an example of how I use warm, soft lighting to create an intimate and serene mood, focusing entirely on the subject's expression and the delicate details of her makeup and jewelry.
