Featured Cinematic and Artistic Photography Portfolio
A collection of my work focusing on raw emotion, natural light, and quiet storytelling. These images define my approach to cinematic portraiture.
A black and white editorial fashion shot featuring a model in a headscarf and houndstooth jacket, sharing an intimate moment with a white horse on a sandy beach. This image captures a timeless, cinematic feel.
A moody, cinematic portrait of a woman with short hair holding an umbrella under a glowing streetlamp at night. The rich colors and soft focus on the background city lights create a story-driven atmosphere.
A striking black and white night portrait of a woman looking directly at the camera, with the blurred lights of a highway stretching out behind her. This shot exemplifies my raw, urban cinematic style.
An indoor portrait capturing a quiet, pensive moment. The model sits in a vintage wooden chair, bathed in the warm, soft light of a bedroom, creating a feeling of calm and introspection.
A creative and artistic portrait of a woman seen through a rain-streaked window. Her hand rests on the glass, creating a sense of longing and painterly beauty, perfect for a conceptual photoshoot.
A black and white lifestyle photograph showing two women sitting back-to-back amidst bookshelves. One is reading, capturing a candid, intimate story of friendship and shared quiet moments.
A colorful outdoor fashion portrait taken at dusk. The model, wearing a headscarf, stands by the water with a red bridge in the background, showcasing a blend of fashion and environmental portraiture.
About this collection
Before we step in front of the lens, we spend time aligning on the mood. I believe the best shots happen when we share a vision, whether you are looking for something melancholic, edgy, or purely natural. We will discuss your wardrobe and the light we want to chase together.
My approach to cinematic portrait photography is rooted in observation. I treat every session as a quiet narrative, focusing on the interplay of light and shadow rather than just posing for a camera. This collection showcases the variety of my work across Bangalore and Kochi, ranging from candid lifestyle portraits to high-concept editorial shoots.
How I Work
Every shoot begins with a conversation. Whether you need a professional portfolio for agency submissions or a personal session to capture a specific phase of your life, we start by mood boarding. We will talk about the vibe you want, from moody and cinematic to clean and airy, ensuring the environment complements your story. I often scout locations like city streets, heritage spaces, or natural outdoor areas to find the right backdrop.
Technical Approach
My work relies heavily on the golden hour and available ambient light to achieve that film-like quality. When shooting indoors, I use natural light or minimal setups to keep the focus on genuine emotion. I specialise in black and white photography, which I find strips away distractions and centers the image on texture, character, and raw feeling. Each final image you receive is professionally graded to enhance this atmosphere, ensuring that your photos don't just record a moment, but keep the feeling of it alive.
Agy Thomas
I am Agy, and I see photography as visual poetry. My goal is not just to take your photo, but to capture the quiet, honest moments that often go unseen. Let’s create something that feels less like a session and more like a story.
