Cinematic Photography Portfolio
A look into the frames that define my style—from atmospheric pre-wedding portraits and artistic concepts to the candid, high-energy moments of real celebrations.
This is the kind of magic I chase. An atmospheric pre-wedding portrait session in the misty morning at Nandi Hills, where the fog and soft light create a scene straight out of a movie.
Capturing the quiet solemnity of a South Indian wedding ceremony. I focus on the meaningful details, like the exchange between the couple, surrounded by the vibrant colors of their family and traditions.
A timeless black and white moment from a post-wedding shoot. Stripping away color lets the pure emotion of the kiss and the connection between the couple become the entire story.
There is so much joy in anticipation. This is a close, intimate moment from a maternity photoshoot, capturing the partner's connection to the baby bump in a way that feels warm and genuine.
My event photography is all about capturing energy. Here, a fire dancer is frozen in motion against the night sky, showcasing my ability to handle dramatic, low-light situations and create powerful images.
For the bride who wants something different, I love creating editorial-style portraits. This shot, set in a field of tall grass, focuses on the elegant details of the gown and a serene, fashion-forward mood.
A candid, happy moment during an urban couple shoot in Bangalore. I believe the best portraits happen when you're just being yourselves, walking and laughing together on a familiar street.
About this collection
I don't believe in stiff poses or generic event shots. Whether I am capturing the misty mornings at Nandi Hills or the chaos of a Sangeet, my process is entirely about finding the natural interplay of light and shadow. This means your final gallery will feel less like a standard wedding album and more like a collection of scenes from a movie you actually lived in.
Photography is my way of communicating, and my approach changes to fit the story being told. When I shoot weddings, I lean into a documentary style, capturing the rituals and the quiet, stolen glances that happen in the background. My experience with low-light event photography allows me to work in tricky venues without relying on heavy artificial setups, keeping the energy authentic.
For couple portraits, I look for atmospheric backdrops—the open landscapes near Bangalore or the quiet corners of the city—to give your images depth and texture. If you look at my black and white work, you will see a focus on stripping away distractions to highlight raw human connection. I also enjoy working with creative teams for editorial or conceptual sessions, where we use bold lighting to create something truly unique. Whether we are planning a maternity shoot or documenting a full-day wedding, I am looking for the same thing: a moment that feels real and holds up to time.
Alan Binze
I am Alan. I see weddings as stories, not just events, and I am always looking for that blink-and-you-miss-it moment. Whether you need a solo photographer for an intimate ceremony or a team for a full day, I capture the raw energy and the quiet, authentic connections.
