Behind the Scenes of My Resin Art Studio
Welcome to my creative space in Andheri West. Here, resin art meets real-life chaos, where raw materials transform into lasting memories through late nights, bold experiments, and plenty of sanding.
Five years ago, I started my art business from home. This past year, I moved into my own studio. This video is a reflection on the journey, the challenges, and the joy of chasing a dream.
Two years in, and I still get a rush every time I walk into my studio. It's proof that the late nights, bold experiments, and moments of doubt were all worth it.
Lately life's been a balancing act between showing up for work and showing up for myself. This is a reminder that the mess is part of the magic, and growth often looks like quiet consistency.
Some things in life are like resin: delicate, unpredictable, and constantly asking for your presence. A quiet moment of focus in the studio.
My art studio can go from looking clean and pristine to a creative mess in seconds. Give me a wave if you can relate to the beautiful chaos of being an artist.
Sanding can be a nightmare. This is why I'm often absent from Insta stories on Mondays. I'm recharging for the love-hate bond I have with this essential, dusty, and demanding artistic process.
Here are three things I do to keep my white studio white. From using thinner for resin drips to primer for protection and borax for stubborn floor chips, it's a constant battle.
Do not let anything stop you from making art. This is a reminder to conquer your fears and just make things. Every project is a chance to prove the doubtful voice in your head wrong.
Trust yourself and keep going. There's no way you work this hard for something amazing that hasn't happened yet. A little affirmation for all the creators out there.
The secret ingredient is hard work and consistency. You just have to believe it's special. A montage of me working in the studio, from using a jigsaw to carrying finished pieces.
About The Artist's Process & Studio Life
High-quality resin art is 20 percent inspiration and 80 percent grit. When you commission a piece, you are paying for the technical process—the multi-layer pouring, the precise 24-hour curing cycles, and the intensive sanding up to 3000 grit. It is this behind-the-scenes effort that ensures your furniture is actually heat-resistant and scratch-proof, turning a delicate art piece into a functional part of your home you can live with every day.
The Science of the Mess
My studio in Laxmi Industrial Estate is where the magic happens, but it is rarely glamorous. Resin is a chemical medium that demands respect; if you see me covered in dust or absent from social media, I am likely locked in a 'love-hate' bond with a sander. To achieve that glass-like transparency, I use professional-grade epoxy that resists yellowing, combined with deep-pour techniques for river tables or vacuum-sealing for keepsakes.
Why I Invite You In
I believe in full transparency. Whether you are coming in to see how I embed a childhood toy collection into a chair or watching me pour a geode-style wall art piece, I want you to understand the craft. This is why I hold workshops where I share everything—from mold-making to the tricks for achieving a perfect finish. There are no gatekeepers here.
How We Start
Every project begins with a conversation, not a catalog. We sketch out ideas, select the wood or base, and decide on the embedded items—be it wedding garlands, crystals, or vintage collectibles. If you have an idea, no matter how wild, we can find a way to preserve it in resin. My goal is to make art that tells your story, not just decor that fills a room.
