Designing for color lovers requires a delicate balance between vibrancy and peace. For this young family, we moved away from stark neutrals, using a deliberate palette to define zones: greens for the kitchen and office to encourage focus and freshness, blues for the living and dining areas to create a sense of calm, and soft pinks for the nursery to add a touch of whimsy.

Designing for Real Life

The primary constraint here was the toddler. An open floor plan can sometimes feel chaotic, but we managed this by choosing rounded furniture shapes and durable finishes that soften the visual impact. The flow of the house is prioritized so that as the children grow, the space evolves with them rather than feeling restrictive.
