Behind the Scenes of Our Vertical Garden Installations
See how we build your green oasis, from structural site preparation to the final placement of each plant.
This video provides a glimpse into our workflow for a large vertical garden, showing the installation of the modular grid system and the preparation of the plants before they are placed on the wall.
Our team carefully places each Ginseng Ficus Bonsai into its designated slot on the custom-built wall. This step requires precision and an artistic eye to ensure the final composition is balanced.
Preparation is key. Here, boxes of individual Ficus Bonsai plants are unpacked and organized on-site, ready for our team to begin the installation on the pre-built vertical structure.
About Behind the Scenes: Our Installation Process
We approach every vertical garden like an engineering project. Before placing a single plant, we install a moisture-resistant frame that creates a protective gap between your building wall and the green installation, ensuring you never have to worry about dampness or seepage issues later on.
Our Step-by-Step Installation Process
Our goal is to create a green wall that doesn't just look good, but lasts. Here is how we transform your space:
Site Assessment & Planning
Every space has unique light and air quality. We start by analyzing your wall location to decide between hardy, weather-resilient plants for outdoor terraces or air-purifying tropical varieties like Philodendrons for indoor office environments.
Structural Framework
For living walls, we use 1-inch Mild Steel (MS) pipe fabrication. This creates a necessary gap between the building wall and your green wall, preventing seepage and moisture buildup. We then mount modular, UV-treated polypropylene panels that securely house the soilless potting media.
Planting & Irrigation
We use a high-density planting approach, typically installing 8-10 plants per sq. ft. For larger setups, we integrate automated drip irrigation systems with digital solenoid valves, ensuring your plants receive consistent hydration without manual effort.
Final Touches
Installation isn't finished until the final grooming. For artificial walls, this means detailed leaf fluffing and arranging to completely hide the backing grid for a natural look. For live walls, we verify every drip line to ensure even water distribution and confirm each plant is securely settled. We leave the site clean, tidy, and ready for you to enjoy immediately.
