About Balcony & Terrace Jungles
Creating a dense jungle on a high-rise ledge requires more than just good taste. It is about engineering—using our custom soil-less mixes to manage slab weight and drainage while protecting against high-altitude winds. We focus on 'Contained Maximalism' by placing tall screeners at the back for privacy, mid-level statement plants for texture, and cascading greens at the front to soften the edges. We handle the heavy lifting, even if your apartment is 40 floors up, so you simply walk out to fresh air and greenery.
Designing a balcony or terrace garden is a unique challenge in a city like Mumbai. Our approach starts with a site analysis of your space: we look at sunlight direction, wind speeds, and the structural limits of your balcony. We believe you should never have to compromise on density just because you are in an apartment.
Our Process
- Smart Planning: We use lightweight perlite and coco-peat-based soil mixes. This allows us to pack your balcony with lush, mature plants without stressing the building structure.
- Verticality: For high-rise homes, we use layered planting. Tall, hardy varieties like Areca Palms or Thuja go at the back to act as a natural screen against noise and views. Then, we add mid-level foliage and trailing vines to fill every corner.
- The 'Contained Maximalism' Look: We love using giant statement pots to anchor a space. A single, large, well-planted pot can change the entire mood of a deck more than ten small ones ever could.
Beyond the Installation
We don't just finish the job and leave. Because we know high-rise gardening can be tricky, our maintenance team is available to help your garden survive the harsh sun and high winds. Whether it is a rock garden, a tropical nook, or a place to enjoy your morning coffee, we make sure your green space stays vibrant year-round. If you are ready to turn your terrace into a living, breathing escape, we would love to hear from you.
