Discover Scuba Diving Pool Experience
Session Breakdown
- Briefing: 20-minute dry instruction covering hand signals, ear equalization, and equipment mechanics.
- Water Time: 45 to 60 minutes in a swimming pool, starting at the shallow end.
- Skills: Introduction to mask clearing and regulator recovery before free swimming.
Equipment & Safety
- Full Kit: Includes rental of Wetsuit, Mask, Snorkel, Fins, BCD, and Tank.
- Supervision: Direct monitoring by a PADI Professional (1:1 or 1:2 ratio) for maximum safety.
- Value Add: Fee is often credited towards the full Open Water course if booked subsequently.
PADI Open Water Referral Course (Pool & Theory)
Core Training Components
- Knowledge Development: 10-12 hours of eLearning or manual study covering physics and physiology, plus classroom review with a senior instructor.
- Confined Water: 4-6 hours of pool training mastering 20+ survival skills, including buoyancy control and emergency ascents.
- Batch Size: Small groups (max 1:4) ensuring personalized attention.
Equipment & Deliverables
- Premium Gear: Usage of high-end Aqua Lung or Apeks regulators and BCDs during pool sessions.
- Materials: Includes PADI Crewpak, Diver's Logbook, and Dive Planner instruction.
- Referral Paperwork: Official PADI forms issued upon completion, valid globally for finishing the final 4 dives.
Critical Exclusions
- Ocean Dives: The 4 mandatory open water dives needed for certification are not included.
- Travel: Trip costs to locations like Netrani or Andamans are separate.
PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Certification
Curriculum & Skills
- Theory: Digital modules on oxygen exposure limits and physiology of breathing oxygen-enriched air.
- Gas Analysis: Hands-on workshop using Oxygen Analyzers to verify cylinder contents.
- Computer Setup: Training on setting dive computers for specific Nitrox mixtures (EAN32/EAN36).
Certification Value
- Bottom Time: Qualifies you to dive longer without hitting decompression limits.
- PADI Gold Card: Processing of the official certification card included.
- Format: A 'dry' course with no wet training required, ideal for completion before a liveaboard trip.

How We Teach
I’m all about making scuba diving simple to learn and actually fun. Our courses mix online theory (so you don’t have to sit in a classroom) with practical sessions led by certified instructors. You get to chill at home for the study bits, then hit the water when you’re ready. The real classroom is the ocean, not some boring pool.
Your Certification Path
We’re a PADI 5-Star Dive Centre India, so whatever your level - total beginner or someone who wants to geek out on new skills - we’ve got you covered. If you’re already certified, you can go deeper with courses like Nitrox diving or Wreck diving certification. The wreck course is a blast if you’re into history or just want to poke around shipwrecks.
Dive Holidays
A lot of our training happens during group dive holidays in crazy cool places. You could be learning wreck diving in the Maldives or ticking off a specialty in Thailand. It’s not just about the certificate, it’s about the adventure.

My Story
Hey, we’re Planet Scuba India! Seventeen years deep, still get that kid-in-a-candy-store feeling every time we hit the water. Born to Dive, that’s us. Nothing beats watching a shark cruise by or being in the middle of a stingray parade. We started out wanting a dive family in India, and now it’s grown big. Our office? The ocean. Anniversaries underwater, trips that turn strangers into friends – that’s what keeps us jumping back in.
