Forget the hunt for the TV remote or getting up to switch off the living room light. With the Picostone app, your phone becomes the master remote for every light, fan, and AC in your home, even when you're not there.

The Picostone app is designed for ease of use. You can see all your rooms, control individual switches, and activate your favorite scenes like 'Movie Time' or 'All Off' with simple on and off toggles.

My app turns your smartphone into a universal remote. This graphic shows how you can access the controls for your TV, set-top box, and other devices right from the app, eliminating the need for physical remotes.

Don't let anyone outsmart you. This graphic shows how the Picostone app, combined with voice commands, puts you in complete control of your fans, ACs, and lights.

Coming soon: Know Your Consumption. This WhatsApp chat shows a common family problem, high electricity bills. My new feature will help you monitor each appliance's power usage to find the culprit.

About this collection

You don't need a central hub or complex server to make this work. Since my modules sit right behind your existing switchboard, the app communicates directly with your switches via Wi-Fi. Whether you are in bed, at the office, or running late, one tap on the dashboard toggles your appliances instantly, giving you actual control rather than just tech-for-tech's sake.

How It Actually Works

Most smart home systems feel like a renovation project, but I designed this to be the opposite. The Picostone app connects to the tiny hardware module we hide behind your switchboard. Once installed, it doesn't matter if you are using an iPhone or Android; the interface gives you clear, room-wise segregation so you aren't hunting for switches in a list of twenty.

Your Phone, Your Universal Remote

Think about the clutter on your coffee table. The app replaces the AC remote, the TV remote, and the set-top box remote. We have designed the interface to be intuitive—you can group devices into scenes like 'Movie Time' or 'Good Night.' Tap one button, and the lights dim while the AC hits your preferred temperature.

Coming Soon: Tracking Your Power

One of the most requested features is energy monitoring. We are currently rolling out an update that helps you track power consumption per appliance. It takes the guesswork out of high electricity bills. You will be able to see exactly which appliance is the 'culprit' behind that spike at the end of the month, helping you save on bills without changing your lifestyle.

Why No Hub?

I wanted to make this affordable and scalable. By keeping the logic local to the module, you don't need to buy an expensive gateway device. Start with one room, test the app, and expand to the rest of the house only when you are comfortable.

I'm Niket, and I started Picostone because I was genuinely too lazy to get off the couch just to turn off a light. My goal is to make smart home tech feel simple and 'Made in India', without needing to break a single wall to install it.
