I capture the divine energy of India's spiritual centers. From the intricate stone work of ancient shrines to aerial perspectives of remote temple complexes, I document these sacred spaces through a mix of drone and ground photography.

About this collection

I approach every temple shoot with a dual focus. My drone captures the architectural layout and surrounding landscape to provide scale, while my ground-level camera documents the intricate details of the idols and stone carvings. This hybrid method ensures you get a complete visual story, from the grandeur of the shikhara to the quiet atmosphere within the inner sanctum.

When shooting spiritual sites, my goal is to document both the architecture and the vibe. Whether I am at a place like the Govardhan Ecovillage or the Siddhivinayak Temple, I look for angles that tell a story.

My Photography Approach

I use a hybrid workflow that combines high-resolution ground stills with aerial perspectives.

  • Aerial Documentation: I use my DGCA certified drone to capture the footprint of temple complexes. This is essential for large sites like the Ashapura Mata Temple in Nadol, where the scale of the architecture is a key part of the experience.
  • Ground Level Details: I spend time on the details that ground the viewer, specifically the textures of stone carvings, the play of light on idols, and the overall atmosphere of the temple floor.
  • Visual Storytelling: Beyond just clear photos, I look for the interaction between the modern and the ancient. This is how I capture sites like ISKCON Pune, where modern maintenance meets centuries of devotion.

Site Coverage

I am based in Mumbai, which gives me easy access to city landmarks like Babulnath and remote heritage sites across Maharashtra and beyond. If you are looking to document a spiritual center, a temple event, or an architectural project, I bring the right gear and the necessary patience to get it done.

I am a Mumbaikar with a lens and a drone, constantly chasing the stories hidden in our ancient stones. I document temples not as static buildings, but as living, breathing sanctuaries where the past meets the present.
